EDUCATION:

Fawad Khan belonged to an affluent family. His early life was spent living abroad in Dubai, Greece and Manchester. He came back to his homeland when he was 12 years. He obtained his A-Levels from Lahore Grammar School and went on to complete his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore.  His first performance was amateur acting in a theater play called Spartacus during A-level in 1999.  By age 20, Khan could play the guitar, bass and drums.

MARRIAGE: 

Fawad Khan was in love with a girl Sadaf since 1997 at the mere age of 17 years. After 8 years of togetherness they tied the knot together on 12th November 2005. He was a hopeless romantic. He loves his wife dearly and there have never been a scandal reported against him. Together they have a beautiful son named Ayaan Khan born in 2008 and also a baby girl, born on 4th October 2016.

CAREER:

Fawad Khan was always interested in singing and acting. He made his first stage performance in a small play in his A-Levels. The play caught the attention of director Shahzad Anjum, who helped Fawad into the media world. Earlier he was the lead singer of the band Entity Paradigm with Ahmed Butt. The band released their first album in 2003 by name of Irtiqa. Fawad then used to sing on and off but left singing completely in 2012 to focus on his acting career.

His first debut entry in the media was through a drama JUTT and BOND which was not very successful. Khan’s cinematic debut was in 2007 from the movie Khuda Kay Liye, which was the highest-grossing Pakistani film of 2007. He later appeared in Anjum Shehzad’s travel adventure drama series Satrangi.

In 2010, he worked in a drama serial, DAASTAAN, for which he was critically acclaimed and received a very positive response. Khan worked in Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan and Akbari Asghari after Dastaan. 2011 was a turning point in his career as he worked in drama HUMSAFAR, opposite Mahira Khan, which made him very popular and led to immense success and earned him awards.

In 2012, he worked in drama, ZINDAGI GULZAR HAI, opposite Sanam Saeed. He also sang a song in the drama. His last drama was NUMM which was broadcasted in 2013. This versatile actor had also made a mark in his modelling career. He has walked the ramp for Munib Nawaz in 2010, for Umar Sayeed in 2012 and for Republic of Umar Farooq in 2015. Recently, Khan was made brand ambassador of the Indian brand Giovanni.

INDIAN CAREER:

Fawad’s acting talent took him across the borders as well. In 2014, Khan made his debut in Bollywood in Shashanka Ghosh‘s Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor. His performance was praised by the critics and noted as one of the highlights of the film. In 2016, his another film was released KAPOOR & SONS, directed by Shakun Batra. He was casted alongside Rishi Kapoor and was extremely successful after its release. He was working in another Indian movie of karan Johar, AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL, but due to enmity and tensions between India and Pakistan, he was asked to leave India and was replaced.

ASTONISHING FACT:

One astonishing fact about this handsome actor is that he met with an accident at the age of 17 and as a result his pancreas were damaged. Due to that he became diabetic with TYPE 1 Diabetes and ties a device in his arms to view the disease level.
